My fourth tooth, which has been threatening all week to come out, made an appearance today. It was noted by dad during a wrestling session in which I had him pinned. He looked up into my triumphant grin, and there it was- my top, left-of-middle (to me) tooth. Yes!
On a more serious note, I would like to take the time to say a good word about a good man- a guy a never met but my mom says was pretty cool- Tom Roberts. He passed away this week and I'm going to his visitation tonight. I'm going to meet all kinds of new people there, people who are fans of Tom. I'll bet I'll hear all kinds of fun stories about him. People miss him already.
Whoever and wherever you are, have a good day, and although I'm not allowed to eat cheese yet, I'll share some with you now: tell the people you love how you feel about them today. It may be cheese, but who doesn't need a little cheese in their diet?*
*Unless you are lactose intollerant, of course.

Wrestlemania
Daddy's home from his mission trip to Mexico! And now we wrestle again, and I'm getting strong enough to win even more often! I'm so glad he's home... no one makes me laugh like Daddy. Speaking of laughing, Mom laughed a lot when she found out Dad had been wrestling and playing with me when the entire back of my outfit under my sweatshirt was soaked from a huge diaper blowout. I've been having two of those a day lately- and no size or tightness of diaper can hold them in! It's fun for me to see if the mess is the color of my carrots or my strained green beans! Mom is practicing for the laundry Olympics!
In addition to time spent with Daddy, it's been a busy week in other ways. I now crawl backwards (but not forwards yet), can pull myself up to a stand in my crib, and do insanely difficult yoga poses. I chase Cheerios around on my highchair tray with my fingers and am getting more proficient with my sippy cup. Best of all, I'm getting better at sneaking looks at the TV, which I'm not supposed to watch! I'm such a persistent little fella!
Hope you are doing well. May your days, and diapers, be full of neat things.

Give peas a chance
Welcome to the blog of Grady Z! You can thank Grandpa Z for the idea for the blog's name- a combination of my first, middle, and last name that kinda spells Grandpa's nickname for me.
Let me introduce myself. I am a baby who likes puppies (real and stuffed), who can do a sit up in one minute flat, and who doesn't like strained peas... yet. I have a total of three teeth now thanks to the one that showed up yesterday, and I pack a mean punch ( I gave my mom a bloody nose this week). But mostly I'm a lover, not a fighter, and my smile is my favorite way to communicate. Need proof? Look at the photos!
Thanks for checking in on me- expect updates to this blog at least once a month! (Ha!)
